On 11 June 2026, The Packaging Forum held an event with political representatives from National (Grant McCallum MP), Labour (Hon Rachel Brooking), ACT (Simon Court MP), NZ First (Jamie Arbuckle MP) and the Greens (Kahurangi Carter MP). Facilitated by Kerre Woodham, the panel was asked a range of questions covering the waste, packaging sustainability, and resource recovery sectors; as well as provided the opportunity for them to share their party’s long-term vision and any policy updates.
